Linda Werlein's "von Asgard" Working Dobermann Kennel has been successfully importing, breeding, training, and titling "hard nosed" European Dobermanns for over 40 years.

Our "von Asgard" pups/young/adult dogs have not been bred/selected for family pets or even for Schutzhund competion. Rather, they are intended for "KNPV" type full body suit Protection Sport competition, for use as Police Service Dogs (PSD's) and for use as Military Working Dogs (MWD's) That does not mean they will not be a great family dog with a proper socialization program (desensitizing them to numerous people and places) and correct upbringing. These dogs are bred for stability; however, they do require a responsible and knowledgeable owner. If you have to ask what we mean by all this, or question your ability to correctly raise such a dog, then these pups/young dogs/adult dogs are not for you.
