Since 1979, “von Asgard” Working Dog Kennel has successfully imported, bred, trained & titled/certified the finest European Working Dobermanns. For the past 30 years, our intent was NOT to just breed very good Dobermanns, and NOT to just breed exceptional European Show Quality Dobermanns; but . . . to ONLY line-breed on the hardest, proven Dobermanns from the strongest European Working Dobermann Kennels. Over the years, the proven Dobermanns we line-bred on came primarily from the following proven German working kennels: “v. Ellendonk”, “ v. Langenhorst”, “v. Kloster Kamp”, “v. Worringer Bruch”, “v Merkureck”, “v. d. Mooreiche”, “v. d. Weyermuhle”, “v. d. Doberwache” & “v. Dragonerreich”.
The actual Dobermanns that we have line-bred on include: Bingo v. Ellendonk, Ali v. Langenhorst, Nicolai v. Kloster Kamp, Askan v. Worringer Bruch, Adux v. Merkureck, Gero v. d. Mooreiche, Kleo v. d. Weyermuhle, Bronco v. d. Doberwache & Doc v. Dragonerreich.

One of the outstanding Working Dobermanns we linebred upon: Larry v. d. Mooreiche, SchH III, IPO III, FH, 2 x German National Working Dobermann Champion & IDC (Int'l. Dobermann Club) World Working Dobermann Champion. |

>>> IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM LINDA WERLEIN:
Our "von Asgard" pups/young/adult dogs HAVE NOT been bred/selected for family pets or even for Schutzhund competion. Rather, they are INTENDED FOR "KNPV" type full body suit Police & Military Certification . . . as Police Service Dogs (PSD's) and for use as Military Working Dogs (MWD's) That does not mean they will not be a great family dog with a proper socialization program (desensitizing them to numerous people and places) and correct upbringing. These dogs are bred for stability; however, they do require a responsible and knowledgeable owner. If you have to ask what we mean by all this, or question your ability to correctly raise such a dog, then these pups/young dogs/adult dogs are not for you.
